Dr
Nicole Soffe has a small medical practice in a beautiful
setting just outside Chudleigh, about 20 minutes' drive
from the centre of Exeter. ·
A positive perspective on health
She
started the practice after 12 years full time in the NHS,
because she wanted to provide a different kind of service,
one that was not feasible within the NHS. A practice which
could allow much more time and space for patients; one which
could really focus on people's well-being; a practice which
could bring people the full benefits of homoeopathy together
with expertise in conventional, "allopathic" medicine. ·
Time for effective treatment Patients enjoy the relaxed
environment. Appointments are unhurried. Schedules are designed
to meet your specific needs, not put under pressure by a
long patient list or sudden emergency calls. ·
A personal perspective on well-being
Dr Soffe is married, with four children, so combines the
perspectives of an experienced GP and homoeopath with that
of any parent concerned about specific and unspecified childhood
ailments. She loves the opportunities which homoeopathy
presents in dealing especially with those problems where
allopathic medicine tends to be less successful. Female
patients particularly appreciate her understanding, and
her open approach to a wider range of treatments, including
lifestyle discussions, advice about HRT, breast checks and
contraception.
Knowledge,
understanding and caring for your health
An
expert medical perspective
Dr
Soffe has a rare combination of qualifications and experience
both in "complementary" homoeopathic medicine and "conventional"
allopathic medicine.
Her
formal qualifications include: Licentiate of the Faculty
of Homoeopathy (LF Hom); Bachelor of Medicine (MB); Bachelor
of Surgery (ChB); Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians
(LRCP); Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS);
Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
(DCOG).
A
positive stimulus for your healing
Homoepathic
medicines stimulate the body's defence and healing mechanisms.
Most patients feel positive and well after taking treatment.
Unpleasant
side effects are very rare in homoeopathy. Occasionally
symptoms may become stronger for a little while; this is
not a bad sign as it may show that the remedy is taking
effect, and soon you will feel that you are recovering.

Fees
Dr
Soffe will discuss with you the cost of consultations and
treatment. She treats children and people over 65 at a reduced
rate. Some health savings schemes (such as the HSA) and
insurance schemes may cover the cost of your treatment.
